After researching best practices in mathematics education, I have decided to create a website that students, parents, and teachers can use.  The objective is for students to learn the basics of fractions based on the Third Grade Common Core State Standards.  

 

This website is designed so students can navigate it independently.  Teachers can use it as guided practice.  Parents can also use it with their children to help them understand fractions.  

 

Teachers and parents can look for links throughout the site to use as extension activities and guidance when teaching.  Just look for the Parent-Teacher Tips!
